Our Path
It is said that you only need one percent of the American population to take their fight to the streets to make a difference in this country. A very small number considering the oligarchy thats taking over our government and the atrocities we are committing around the world that the American people are directly responsible for. This number shows what is lacking amongst our people. For many years I believed that all Americans were missing was a lack in education that then had misguided them towards the wrong path. I believed that this education was the key to waking up Americans and with that alone it'd be enough to give them that will to fight that everyone is born with. I now after many years understand that this will that compels you to do the right thing is not something you are born with, it's something that has to be taught. That this is part of the education we must teach our fellow Americans.
It's not that these Americans lack the education to not know or understand that an oligarchy controls our government or that the genocide in Gaza and the ethnic cleansing in the West Bank are wrong, its simply that they lack the will to fight. This tragic apathy and numbness we see in our country is now part of our story, when historians write about America's fall they will surely include several chapters on this part alone. They'll write about how as everything crumbled around them, they sat around and did nothing to stop the madness that had consumed the leaders that were now running their country. How these Americans couldn't even manage half a percent of the population to protest more than one day a year, how the end of this golden age must be held evenly responsible between the government and the people. You cannot sit neutral on a moving train. When you refused to fight, you accepted responsibility for their actions and we must hold you accountable.
The government and the people sharing responsibility is not something you can run away from. This in the past and in the future has and will never be a thing, a population who refuses to show any resistance will always be held responsible for the actions their government commits. This is the path we have chosen as a people and this is the path we will be remembered for. Change first starts with awareness. We must accept that we as a people are imperfect, that were we stand today is a disgrace to what this country stands for. This can be the beginning of something new but we cannot lie to ourselves. We cannot grow past this evil we are all now part of if we do not first accept who we have become. The first step is awareness and the second step begins with your will to use that awareness to change.
This is a generation with no leaders. There are very few of us left and to those who are still out there fighting, heed my message. If we are to save our country we must teach this as much as we must teach them about the evil, corruption and greed both these parties are part of. Teaching this is the only thing than can save us and the world. This seemingly impossible task we have seen generation after generation of leaders fail to teach is now in our hands. It is our turn to take on this mission and finish what they started. Teaching them the Soul and how it connects us to God was my attempt at this but it was not enough. This is a lesson we will most likely fail at teaching but we must keep fighting no matter how small the odds are. This must be part of our mission from now on. Our path will be decided on this alone, a path that will decide the future of our country and the world.
