Syncretism

A crown cursed by prophecy is a crown doomed to fall. The first sire hid his children and buried them in the depths of the earth; the second hid them within himself, each believing he could starve the prophecy that hunted him.

Yet love conspires in the quietest of places. A wheel became a prophecy; a prophecy became a new beginning and a new beginning became their end. The hidden son rose like a gathering storm shattereing the silence of the kingdom. He broke his father’s belly to free the gods within, and together they dragged the old tyrants from their thrones, burying them beneath the very foundations of the world they once ruled. A cycle bounded by fate……
